"Orca Breaching"

A favorite subject of mine, I have literally carved at least a hundred Orca’s, individuals and groupings. This is the largest one I have carved so far. I still dream of carving them life size. Orcas are magnificent and graceful, live in family groups that are matriarchal, hunt like wolves and preform ridiculous aerial feats, seemingly for the fun of it! I never get tired of carving them. I feel blessed to live near the oceans they call home.
